San Diego shooting LIVE: Police swarm Islamic Center as 'avoid the area' warning issued
San Diego police officers have responded to reports of an active shooter situation at the Islamic Center of San Diego, in Clairemont Mesa. The force wrote on X on Monday evening: “SDPD is on scene at the Islamic Center of San Diego in the 7000 block of Eckstrom Ave for a reported active shooter.”
The message added: “Please avoid the area”. San Diego Police Department officials began receiving reports of the incident at around 11:40am local time.
