Suspect arrested for m8rder of 28-year-old man in Kaduna community

Troops of Sector 7 (Sub-Sector 71), Operation Enduring Peace, have arrested a suspect in connection with the alleged k!lling of a 28-year-old man, Chagan Musa, during a violent altercation in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The incident occurred at about 11:00 a.m. on May 18, 2026, when troops deployed at Raga responded to a distress call over a reported k!lling in Raga village.

According to security sources, Musa was allegedly k!lled following an altercation involving him and two other persons.

The troops arrested one suspect, identified as Usman Reuben, in connection with the incident.

The suspect is in military custody for further investigation and is expected to be handed over to the appropriate authorities for necessary action.

Security authorities said investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is ongoing.
