Senator Sani Mocks El-Rufai for Turning to Reggae Music After Ministerial Rejection

Nigerian senator, an accomplished author, playwright, dedicated human rights activist, and astute public affairs analyst, Shehu Sani, has taken a lighthearted jab at the former Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai.

Sani playfully remarked that El-Rufai appears to have taken on the persona of a Rastafarian and a practitioner of reggae music.

Sani’s witty comment was prompted by El-Rufai’s recent post on Twitter. It’s worth recalling that El-Rufai shared a track by the late reggae icon, Bob Marley, specifically the song ‘Who The Cap Fit’ performed by Bob Marley & The Wailers.

This playful exchange follows a series of events, including the Senate’s decision not to grant clearance and confirmation to the former governor for a ministerial role, citing concerns related to security.
