BREAKING NEWS: Akwa Ibom First Lady Patience Umo Eno has passed away, with the patient number

According to an official statement issued by the Honourable Commissioner for Information, Comrade Ini Ememobong and titled “An unexpected sunset”, Mrs. Patience Umo Eno passed away surrounded by her family after a brief illness.
Ememobong expressed the great sadness of the First Family and the State Government Akwa Ibom, noting that the family humbly submitted to the will of God during this difficult time.
While the family expressed gratitude to all those who have extended their support, they requested for privacy as they mourn the loss of their beloved wife, mother and grandmother.
The statement quoted Governor Umo Eno as saying that despite the great personal loss, he remained committed to serving the state Akwa Ibom.
“His Excellency expresses his gratitude to all those who have supported the family during this difficult time,” the statement continued.
“As the nation mourns the passing of the First Lady, further details regarding funeral arrangements will be communicated by her family in due course.
“The entire state is also asked to keep the Governor and her family in their thoughts and prayers as they navigate this painful time,” the statement continued.
Known for her quiet strength, charitable heart and steadfast faith, she leaves behind a legacy of service and compassion that will live forever in the hearts of the people of Akwa Ibom and beyond.
