The federal authorities has declared Monday, September 16 as a public vacation to mark the celebration of the Eid-ul-Mawlid, the delivery of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).

He congratulated the Muslim Ummah each at residence and within the Diaspora for the celebration.
Tunji-Ojo in a press release signed by the Everlasting Secretary of the Ministry, Dr Magdalene Ajani, urged the Muslim Ummah and, by extension, Nigerians, to imbibe the spirit of persistence, sacrifice, and resilience.
Whereas congratulating the Muslim Ummah on the event, the minister implored them to make use of the chance of the interval to hope for enduring peace and a extra affluent nation.
