Governor Eno sacks State Govt Council

Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State has dissolved the State Govt Council, efficient instantly.

The announcement was contained in a press release issued on Friday by the Secretary to the State Authorities, Mr Enobong Uwah, in Uyo.

Based on the assertion, former commissioners and particular advisers have been directed at hand over to everlasting secretaries of their respective ministries. For ministries with out everlasting secretaries, probably the most senior director will take over.

“The governor expresses his honest appreciation to the outgoing government council members for his or her devoted service to the state. He needs them effectively of their future endeavours and thanks them for his or her contributions to the event of the state,” the assertion learn.

The Information Company of Nigeria (NAN) stories that the dissolved government council had been inherited by Governor Eno from his predecessor, Mr Udom Emmanuel, roughly 19 months in the past.
