Kawu, three others suspension by NNPP inconsequential — Factional chairman

The factional Chairman of the New Nigerian Peoples Party in Kano State, Senator Mas’ud El-Jibril Doguwa, has described the suspension of the Senator representing Kano South, Abdulrahman Kawu Sumaila, and three members of the Home of Representatives as inconsequential and of no impact.

Recall that the state NNPP Chairman, Hashimu Dungurawa, accused Sumaila and the three lawmakers of participating in anti-party actions on Monday.

The affected members are a member representing Rogo Federal Constituency, Kano, Alhaji Abdullahi Rogo; Alhaji Abdullahi Rurum representing Rano/Kibiya; and Ali Maadakin Gini, representing Dala Federal Constituency in Kano.

Nevertheless, reacting to the suspension, Doguwa stated that Dungurawa lacked the authority to mete out disciplinary motion so long as he remained the genuine NNPP Chairman in Kano State.

Doguwa insisted that the federal lawmakers from Kano are members of the NNPP beneath the fruit basket emblem acknowledged by the Unbiased Nationwide Electoral Fee.

He stated, “The truth that Senator Abdulrahman Kawu Sumaila and the three different federal lawmakers are not loyal to Kwankwasiyya doesn’t invalidate their membership within the NNPP.

“Dungurawa is suspending Senator Sumaila wherein capability and as who within the celebration? So far as the NNPP is anxious, Dungurawa was the previous Chairman, so he lacks the facility to droop anybody, not even high-ranking members.

“On your data, Dungurawa is a member of Kwankwasiyya, an affiliation and never a political celebration. So, how can he declare members of the NNPP suspended? I need to imagine he’s joking, and maybe he wakened from a deep slumber.

“These folks don’t belong to the NNPP with the fruit emblem, the place we belong and the place I stay the genuine Chairman in Kano, so how can a stranger come out to problem the actual proprietor of the home? Let me merely urge the general public to ignore the information,” Doguwa stated.

Recall that a number of months in the past, Doguwa declared himself as NNPP Chairman beneath the management of Boniface Amieblam, who led a faction of the celebration in Kano State.

The nationwide chief of the Kwankwasiyya motion, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has but to react to the continued debacle.
