Niger Delta chief Edwin Clark dies at 97

Ijaw and Niger Delta chief, Pa Edwin Clark, has died on the age of 97.

The demise of the the previous Federal Commissioner for Data was confirmed in a terse assertion by a consultant of the household, Prof. C. C. Clark, on Tuesday.

The assertion mentioned, “The Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo household of Kiagbodo City, Delta State, needs to announce the passing of Chief (Dr.) Sen. Edwin Kiagbodo Clark OFR, CON on Monday, seventeenth February 2025.

“The household appreciates your prayers presently. Different particulars will probably be introduced later by the household.”

Clark’s dying occurred a couple of days after that of the Afenifere chieftain, Pa Ayo Adebanjo, who died on February 14.
