The Nationwide Bureau of Statistics says Nigeria’s headline inflation dropped to 24.48 per cent in January 2025 following the rebasing of the Client Value Index.
Making this disclosure on Tuesday, in Abuja, was the Statistician Common, Prince Adeyemi Adeniran. This was on the launch of the rebased CPI report.
He mentioned that the inflation price for January decreased from the 34.80 per cent recorded in December 2024.
Adeniran additionally mentioned that the meals inflation was 26.08 per cent yr on yr for January 2025 whereas it was 39.84 in December, 2024.
He mentioned he rebased CPI was a mirrored image of the present inflationary pressures within the nation.
