Kebbi senators defect to APC after assembly Tinubu

Three serving senators from Kebbi State, elected on the platform of the opposition Folks’s Democratic Party, have formally declared their intention to defect to the governing All Progressives Congress.
This adopted their assembly with President Bola Tinubu on the Aso Rock Villa, Abuja, on Friday.
The lawmakers, Senators Adamu Aliero (Kebbi Central), Yahaya Abdullahi (Kebbi North), and Garba Maidoki (Kebbi South), had been led to the assembly by the APC Nationwide Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje.
Friday’s defection is one in all a wave of defections from the PDP to the APC in current weeks.
Additionally current on the assembly had been the Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasir Idris; Sokoto State Governor, Ahmad Aliyu; and the Minister of Finances and Financial Planning, Senator Atiku Bagudu.
