Addressing the continuing political disaster in Rivers State, Wike denied reviews of a feud with the suspended governor, Siminalayi Fubara.

He described Fubara as his “son,” insisting that he harboured no private battle with the governor.

“That one isn’t a battle. He (Fubara) is my boy, he’s my son, why will I struggle with him? I’m solely preventing towards individuals who need to steal what they didn’t work for.

“Now, they’re ashamed as a result of they’re being defeated. They’re those pushing Fubara,” Wike stated.
