Lagos deputy speaker urges NDLEA Act assessment to fight substance abuse

The Deputy Speaker of the Lagos State Home of Meeting, Mojisola Meranda, has known as for a complete assessment and implementation of the Nationwide Drug Legislation Enforcement Company Act in order to fight the rising drawback of substance abuse amongst Nigerians.

The Deputy Speaker made the decision on Wednesday in Lagos whereas talking on the Anti-Substance Abuse Programme Stakeholders Convention, organised by the MTN Foundation on the MTN Golden Plaza, Falomo.

Meranda restated her dedication to the well-being of Lagosians and Nigerians, saying, “As Deputy Speaker and a legislator, I stay dedicated to the well-being of our folks in Lagos and Nigerians basically.
