Wike blasts Obi: “President the place? Your time has handed”

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has launched a scathing criticism of former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, accusing him of democratic double requirements and declaring that his time in Nigerian politics has come and gone.

Talking throughout a thanksgiving service held in Abuja on Sunday, Wike questioned the democratic credentials of Obi, notably his alleged refusal to conduct native authorities elections all through his eight-year tenure as governor of Anambra State.
