Atiku Abubakar, the Former Vice President of Nigeria, has claimed that the suspension of Siminalayi Fubara, the governor of Rivers state was unlawful.

Atiku on his social media web page on Thursday made this declare, stating that the president mustn’t droop a democratically elected chief.

Though, Fubara was reinstated by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday, Atiku claimed that the preliminary acts was unlawful.

“The suspension of the Rivers State Governor and the State Home of Meeting was unconstitutional when it was executed six months in the past and remains to be unlawful right this moment. President Tinubu had no energy to droop a democratically elected governor and state lawmakers. The Rivers shenanigans solely signpost the dictatorship of the Tinubu administration,” he mentioned.
