Kwankwaso mourns two Kano lawmakers who died hours aside

The 2023 New Nigeria Peoples Party presidential candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has expressed sorrow over the sudden passing of two serving members of the Kano State Home of Meeting, Hon. Aminu Ungogo and Hon. Sarki Daneji.

“Hon. Aminu Sa’adu Ungogo, representing Ungogo Constituency, was buried in his hometown in Ungogo Native Authorities Space. Till his demise, he served as Chairman of the Home Committee on Appropriations.

“He was a seasoned native administrator, having held positions similar to Chief Personnel Officer (CPO), Director of Personnel Administration (DPM), and Sole Administrator.

“Equally, Hon. Sarki Aliyu Daneji, representing Kano Municipal Constituency, was buried Thursday morning on the Dandolo Cemetery.

“Till his demise, he was serving his first time period and was Chairman of the Home Committee on Hajj Operations (Pilgrims Affairs). He retired from the Nigeria Safety and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) as State Commandant in Katsina earlier than getting into energetic politics,” the assertion learn.
