PDP to current certificates of return to Ekiti gov candidate Dec 10

The Peoples Democratic Party has introduced that it’s going to formally current the Certificates of Return to its Ekiti State governorship candidate, Dr Oluwole Oluyede, on Wednesday, December 10, 2025.

The occasion is scheduled to carry on the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja at 2 pm.

The announcement was contained in an announcement issued on Monday by the PDP Nationwide Publicity Secretary, Comrade Ini Enemobong.

“Following the profitable conduct of the Ekiti State Gubernatorial Major Election of our nice Party, the Peoples Democratic Party and the Appeal Panel ratification, the Nationwide Working Committee hereby schedules the Presentation of Certificates of Return to our Candidate, Dr Oluwole Olyede, for the June 20, 2026 Governorship Election in Ekiti State, as follows: Date; Wednesday, December 10, 2025,” the assertion learn.

The celebration invited leaders, members of the Nationwide Government Committee, PDP governors, serving and former members of the Board of Trustees, present and previous lawmakers, and different stakeholders to attend the ceremony.

It added that the occasion underscores the celebration’s dedication to uniting its buildings forward of the 2026 governorship ballot.

PidomNigeria On-line reported in November that Oluyede, a medical professional, emerged because the PDP governorship candidate in Ekiti State.

He emerged victorious within the celebration’s major election, which held on November 8 by the early hours of November 9.

He polled 279 votes to defeat Funso Ayeni, who scored 239 votes, and Funmilayo Ogun, who had 17 votes.
