PICTORIAL: Atiku visits Jonathan in Abuja

Ex-Vice President Atiku Abubakar on Saturday visited ex-President Goodluck Jonathan at his residence in Abuja.
The assembly is their first since Jonathan’s return from an election remark mission in Guinea-Bissau.
Posting footage of their encounter on his verified social media handles on Sunday, Atiku wrote, “It was a pleasure catching up with former President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday night, following his latest return from Guinea-Bissau.”
Jonathan, who served as president from 2010 to 2015, misplaced his reelection bid in 2015 to Muhammadu Buhari.

The go to follows Atiku’s official defection to the African Democratic Congress.
He joined the ADC after resigning from the Peoples Democratic Party, citing claims that the occasion had deviated from the ideas of its founding fathers.

There are indications that Atiku might emerge because the ADC’s presidential candidate for the 2027 election.
