Stress As Police Take Over Lawmaker Ikenga Ugochinyere’s Reception Venue In Imo

Stress has erupted in Ideato North/South Federal Constituency of Imo State as police operatives forcefully occupied the venue of a deliberate civic reception for Hon. Ikenga Ugochinyere, the Home of Representatives member representing the constituency.

The reception, organised by residents of Ideato South Federal Constituency to honour the lawmaker, was scheduled for 4:00 pm on Tuesday and was to be broadcast stay on tv channels.

Nonetheless, safety operatives moved into the venue hours to the time to cease the programme.

The safety operatives didn’t present any rationalization for the transfer.

In the meantime, the organisers have vowed to proceed with the occasion. They warned that “the darkish days in Imo State is not going to be allowed to face once more.”
