JUST IN: Kwankwaso’s son resigns as Kano commissioner

Mustapha Rabiu Kwankwaso, son of 2023 presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, has resigned his appointment as Kano State Commissioner for Youth and Sports activities Growth.

Kwankwaso introduced his resignation as a member of the State Govt Council in an announcement made accessible posted on his official Fb account on Monday.

He expressed gratitude to Governor Abba Yusuf for the chance to serve within the administration.

“It’s with a heavy coronary heart that I announce my resignation as Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Youth and Sports activities Growth and member of the Kano State Govt Council,” the assertion learn.

He thanked the governor for the boldness reposed in him, noting that his time in workplace offered him with beneficial experiences and classes whereas serving the individuals of the state.

“I need to specific my deepest gratitude to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for the chance to serve the nice individuals of Kano State. I’ve cherished the experiences and classes gained whereas serving, and I respect the belief positioned in me,” he stated.

Kwankwaso expressed hope that the youth and sports activities sectors would proceed to obtain sufficient consideration underneath the current administration, stressing the necessity for sustained funding in youth empowerment and sports activities growth.

“As I resign, I pray that the youth of Kano State will proceed to obtain the eye and assist they deserve. I hope for the most effective for our sports activities growth programmes and initiatives, and I’m assured that they’ll flourish within the years to return,” he added.

He concluded by providing prayers for the state and its management.

“Might Allah (SWT) proceed to bathe His blessings on our beloved Kano State. I want the federal government and folks of Kano State all the most effective,” the assertion stated.

The resignation comes amid ongoing political realignments throughout the Kano State Authorities following Governor Yusuf’s current exit from the NNPP.
