Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has requested political appointees in his administration with aspirations for elective places of work to brazenly declare their ambitions forward of the 2027 basic elections.

Makinde gave the directive on Thursday on the Oyo State Authorities-organised 2026 Iftar programme held on the frontage of the Banquet Corridor, Authorities Home, Agodi, Ibadan.

In a press release launched on Friday by his Particular Adviser on Media, Sulaimon Olarenwaju, the governor directed the aspirants to pursue their ambitions on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party.
