‘Eat your award’- Actress, Lily Afegbai fumes after failing to make AMVCA nomination list

Nollywood actress Lilian Afegbai, has taken to her X handle to express her displeasure after her name was omitted in the Best Supporting Actress category at the upcoming Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards slated to hold on May 9.

The award organizers released the nominees list on Sunday, May 29, and Lilian apparently felt she deserved to be on the list.

In a post shared on X, Lilian felt her performance as Idia in ‘To Kill a Monkey’ produced by Kemi Adetiba, deserved to earn her a nomination. She asked the award organizers to eat their award.

The Best Supporting Actress category features nominees including Linda Ejiofor (The Herd), Olamide Kidbaby (Oversabi Aunty), Bisola Aiyeola (Gingerrr), Sola Sobowale (The Covenant Series), Nadia Dutch (Aljana), Amal Umar (The Herd), Juliebrenda Nyambura (MTV Shuga Mashariki) and Funke Akindele (Behind The Scene)
