“They dismissed my son’s career path because he said he wants to be a gamer and hacker” — Mother calls out school

A mother has called out her son’s school, accusing them of constantly underrating and dismissing him, especially after a recent incident ahead of their career day.

According to her, students were asked to state what they wanted to become in the future, after which the school would prepare notes for them to recite.

However, when it got to her son and he said he wanted to be a gamer and a hacker, she claimed the school director dismissed his choice and refused to properly include him like the others.

She said the director insisted those paths were not real careers, adding that professions in gaming, tech, and cybersecurity were not valid.

Despite the situation, the mother said she remains confident in her son’s future, insisting he would succeed regardless, while warning the school not to downplay his ambitions.
