What began as a symbolic gesture from has grown into a nationwide movement with strategic stops in Awaka, Enugu, and Lagos. At each location, the ride has become a platform for community engagement, education, and constructive dialogue on the urgent need for autism, inclusion, and stronger support systems.
The event has garnered widespread national attention, including high-level meetings with the First Lady and other key figures, highlighting the importance of autism awareness at the highest levels of government. Public support from government officials, including the Secretary of State, and social media engagement also reflect the event’s growing impact. Enugu The Autism Awareness Ride aims to connect urban and rural communities, ensuring broad public participation and inclusive involvement from diverse populations. The route passes through Kanyechukuore, Ejeboud, and Asaba, culminating at the finish line at Benin.
