“We do not seek war, but we do not fear it. Our missile capabilities are the shield of our nation, and we will not negotiate away the means of our survival,” he said.
Ghalibaf confirmed that a 15-point plan delivered through the mediation of Pakistan has been formally acknowledged and is undergoing a technical and political review.
According to the statement, Iran’s parliament (Majlis) has been instructed to coordinate with the Supreme National Security Council to examine the proposal in detail.
“We will respond to genuine diplomacy with diplomacy, but will meet force with strength that will make our aggressors regret it,” he said, adding that Iran remains militarily prepared.
“Our fingers remain on the trigger,” Ghalibaf said, warning that the cost of aggression would continue to rise if Iran’s sovereignty is not respected.
The acknowledgement marks the first time Iranian leadership has publicly confirmed the existence of the 15-point proposal and said it is under official review.
In a separate message posted on social media, Ghalibaf addressed what he described as the “thirtieth day of the national defence of Iranians”, saying the conflict had entered a critical phase.
“It can now be said that the evil of war has returned to its instigator. The Ramadan war is in its most sensitive moments,” he wrote, praising the unity of the Iranian people over the past month.
