JAMB releases 2026 mock UTME results, delists 20 centres

ABUJA: The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) mock conducted on March 28.
The board’s Public Communication Adviser, Mr Fabian Benjamin, said candidates can check their results by sending “MOCKRESULT” via SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number used for registration.
According to him, 224,597 candidates registered for the mock examination, out of which 152,586 successfully participated.
He disclosed that the exercise was conducted across 989 Computer-Based Test centres nationwide.
Benjamin further revealed that more than 20 centres that experienced technical challenges during the exercise had been delisted.
He warned candidates against patronising individuals or groups claiming they could manipulate or inflate scores, describing such claims as false and criminal.
“Candidates found engaging in these activities risk cancellation of registration or withdrawal of results,” he cautioned.
The board also reminded candidates that the main UTME examination is scheduled to commence on April 16.
