JAMB releases UTME mock results, delists 20 centres

The results of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME Mock), conducted on Saturday, March 28, 2026, have been released.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board announced this Tuesday in a statement by its spokesman, Fabian Benjamin.
The board said, “Candidates can check their results by sending MOCKRESULT via SMS to 55019 or 66019, using the same phone number (SIM) used during registration for the 2026 UTME.”
A total of 224,597 candidates registered for the mock examination, with 152,586 successfully sitting for the test across 989 Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres nationwide.
In the aftermath of the exercise, more than 20 CBT centres plagued by technical issues have been delisted over inadequacies.
JAMB also issued a stern warning to candidates to steer clear of fraudsters, especially those operating on WhatsApp, who falsely claim they can manipulate or inflate scores.
The board stressed that such acts are criminal and will attract severe sanctions, including cancellation of registration or withdrawal of results if discovered after the examination.
Meanwhile, candidates are reminded that the main UTME is scheduled to begin on Thursday, April 16, 2026.
