"For how many years are we going to be on earth that we make people poor?" Businessman Isaac Fayose admonishes politicians as he reveals his wife has cancer and his wealth can’t save her

Isaac Fayose has disclosed that his wife has cancer.

The businessman, whose brother Ayo Fayose is a former governor of Ekiti state,  narrated how he travelled to Australia to see his wife who is battling cancer. 

Crying bitterly, he explained that his wife was so weak that she could barely speak or offer him a welcome greeting. 

He said his wife used to pick him from the airport but he had to take a cab home. He added that his wife cooks for him but he had to cook this time around. 

He said he then held her hand and sang their favourite song – Abide With Me – to her. 

Addressing politicians, he urged them to remember, as they are acquiring wealth at the expense of the masses, that all is vanity. He told them to remember that the end for everyone is de@th, even after they take “what belongs to the people” to keep for themselves and their own children. 

“Our one million dollar house couldn’t save my wife, my wealth couldn’t save my wife. She was just lying there, she held my hand, she couldn’t hold it strong,” he lamented. 

“Why make others poor, pack what belongs to be people, take everything from them, when you know you’re still going to leave this world?” Fayose queried. 

He vowed to use the rest of his time on earth to speak for the common man and help them.
