Satellite images reveal damage across Iran and Middle East after strikes

Konarak Damage: Images show a capsized ship at the Konarak Naval Base dated March 4 and a frigate on fire at the Konarak naval base dated February 28. Other images show destroyed storage bunkers, aircraft shelters, destroyed naval vessels and buildings, and a satellite view showing the destroyed base after U.S. and Israeli strikes at Konarak dated March 1.

Bandar Abbas: Satellite images show fires at Bandar Abbas Military Harbour dated March 2. Other images show the Bandar Abbas harbour and a vessel that was hit in an airstrike in Bandar Abbas, Hormozgan Province dated March 2, and additional images show the harbour after the airstrike and damage to the Bandar Barkhuh naval base after an airstrike dated March 6.

Drone Bases: Images show destroyed buildings and equipment at the Choqa Baulk-e Alireza drone base dated March 2, along with an overview image of the same drone base following an airstrike on the same date. Satellite images also show damage at the Ahvaz drone base in Ahvaz, Khuzestan Province, Iran dated March 8.

Natanz Isfahan: Satellite images show the Natanz fuel enrichment complex dated March 7 and buildings damaged at the Natanz nuclear facility near Natanz dated March 2. Other images show destroyed buildings at Isfahan airport in Isfahan Province dated March 8 and damaged buildings at the Isfahan military garrison in Iran dated March 8.

Tehran Compound: Satellite images show black smoke rising and heavy damage at Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s compound in Tehran dated February 28. Another image shows the destroyed residence complex belonging to the Supreme Leader in Tehran dated March 1, showing damage to buildings within the residential compound area.

UAE Fujairah: A satellite image shows smoke rising from Fujairah port in the United Arab Emirates dated March 15. Fujairah, outside the Strait of Hormuz, is the outlet for about one million barrels per day of the UAE’s Murban crude oil, a volume equal to about one percent of global oil demand.

Saudi Dubai: Satellite images show smoke rising at the Ras Tanura oil refinery in Ras Tanura, Saudi Arabia after a drone attack dated March 2. Other images show Jebel Ali Port in Dubai after one of the berths caught fire because of debris from an intercepted missile and an industrial area covered in smoke in Dubai dated March 1.

Bahrain Strike: Satellite images show damage at the U.S. Fifth Fleet naval base in Manama, Bahrain dated March 1 after Iranian strikes. Across the full set of satellite images, the documented sites include airbases, naval bases, drone bases, oil facilities, ports, military compounds, and residential compounds across Iran and other Middle East locations following strikes and retaliatory attacks.
