Trump LIVE: US 'readying ground invasion' as thousands of Marines arrive in Middle East

Fox News host Mark Levin has claimed an American incursion on Iranian soil is being floated as an option by the US government in order to seize control of Iran’s stockpiles of enriched uranium. In his show on US cable channel Fox on Saturday (March 28) night, Levin said there are “a lot of reasons” to put American soldiers on the ground in Iran, but “the main one is uranium”.“We’ve got to get the uranium,” he told Americans on Saturday night. “If it cannot be destroyed, if it cannot be altered, we gotta get it.”The conservative commentator added that only a small group of US soldiers would be needed on foreign soil to get the job done
“[Trump]’s not talking about sending regular Army infantry in by the hundreds of thousands. The men he’s talking about, the units he’s talking about, they are specialised,” Levin said.“And you know what else, I remember from my days in the Reagan administration, many of them are trained for a moment like this — to try and secure enriched uranium. Many have been trained for moments like this.”
While Levin did not reveal who had shared the inside scoop with him, the US President himself took to his preferred social media channel Truth Social to urge Americans to tune into his show to hear about “the importance of hitting Iran”.
“Watch Mark Levin interview of Brilliant Marc Thiessen tonight at 8pm,” Trump said, adding: “Will discuss the importance of hitting Iran, HARD!!!”
