US President jokingly refers to Strait of Hormuz as 'Strait of Trump'

He was speaking at the Future Investment Initiative in Miami, US. He said, “Iran has open up the ‘State of Trump. I mean, Hormuz.”
He added that “the fake news” would say ‘he accidentally said’ but there are no accidents with him, “not too many. If there were, we’d have a major story”.
His comments come at a time when the Strait of Hormuz has become central to the ongoing war in West Asia. The waterway is a key global oil transit route and handles the movement of close to 20 million barrels of oil per day.
Iran’s ability to block access via the waterway has resulted in significant volatility in global energy prices and supplies.
On another note, several US service members suffered injuries in an Iranian ballistic missile strike at the Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia in the early hours of Saturday, March 28, the Wall Street Journal reported.
The Pentagon is yet to issue a comment on the same.
Iran also witnessed fresh strikes from Israel overnight.
Iran’s foreign minister said the attack comes after Trump had extended the deadline for Iran for diplomacy and that Iran would exact “HEAVY price for Israeli crimes”.
