Vice President Shettima Visits Nasir El-Rufai, Offers Prayers For Late Mother (Video)

Vice President Kashim Shettima on Monday paid a condolence visit to former Kaduna State governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, following the de@th of his mother.

Mr Stanley Nkwocha, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Communications, Office of the Vice-President, disclosed this in a post on his official X handle on Monday.

Earlier, Tori News reported that El-Rufai’s biological mother, Hajiya Umma El-Rufai, d!ed in Cairo, Egypt, on Friday.

The former governor has since then been receiving dignitaries at his residence in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja.

During the visit, Shettima described the deceased as a woman of great virtue and a pillar of strength for her family.

He offered prayers for the repose of her soul and for the El-Rufai family to find the strength to navigate the difficult period of mourning.
