Wike-backed PDP denies supporting Tinubu’s re-election bid

A faction of the Peoples Democratic Party backed by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has denied claims that it plans to assist President Bola Tinubu within the 2027 common elections.
The faction’s Nationwide Publicity Secretary, Jungudo Mohammed, said this on Monday throughout an interview on Channels Tv’s Morning Transient.
In response to him, the PDP will area its personal presidential candidate for the election.
“We’re not supporting President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for 2027 common election. We are going to do all the pieces to area our personal candidate.
