The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the commencement of printing of examination slips for candidates registered for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

In a statement posted on its official X handle on Thursday, the board said candidates can now access and print their examination slips, which contain details of their examination venue, date and time.

“This is to notify you that examination slip printing is now available,” the board stated, adding that the slip is required for entry into the examination hall.

JAMB said: “Attention 2026 UTME Candidates: This is to notify you that Examination Slip Printing is now available.

“The slip contains details of the venue, date and time of your examination and gives you access to the examination hall.”

JAMB had earlier announced that the UTME will hold from April 16 to April 25.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the examination body urged candidates and the general public to ignore the report of exam postponement, stressing that it did not originate from the board.

“Our attention has been drawn to a malicious press release alleging that the 2026 UTME has been postponed. We wish to state clearly that the notice is fake and did not emanate from the board. Candidates and the general public are advised to disregard it. All arrangements for the 2026 UTME remain on course as scheduled,” JAMB stated.

Meanwhile, JAMB also disclosed that the 2025 policy meeting approved minimum admission scores of 150 for universities, 140 for colleges of nursing, and 100 for polytechnics, monotechnics, colleges of education, colleges of agriculture, and innovation enterprise institutions.

The board added that the minimum age for admission into tertiary institutions for the 2025/2026 academic session remains 16 years.
