Bauchi 2027: Ex-foreign minister picks APC governorship form

Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, the immediate past Minister of Foreign Affairs, has formally obtained the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship nomination form to contest the 2027 election in Bauchi State.
A video circulating on social media showed Tuggar collecting the N50 million form during a ceremony at the APC secretariat attended by party leaders, officials and supporters.
Supporters were seen cheering and recording the event as party officials processed documents.
Tuggar recently resigned from the cabinet of President Bola Tinubu to pursue the governorship seat in Bauchi.
The former Nigerian ambassador to Germany said he would abide by the outcome of a credible APC primary.
