Dubai explosions LIVE: Iran launches attack on UAE after Trump speech

Iran launched an attack on the UAE just moments after Donald Trump vowed to “finish the job” and continue his war in the Middle East.
Explosions were reported in various locations across the UAE, with Dubai airport appearing to be a top target.
Data on FlightRadar24 showed several planes avoiding the area, and authorities in Dubai confirmed several missiles or drones had been intercepted.
They wrote on X: “The competent authorities in Dubai confirm that the sounds heard in various areas of the Dubai Emirate are the result of successful interceptions by air defenses.”
It came after Donald Trump said his core “objectives are nearing completion” in Iran, during a primetime televised speech from the White House
The 20-minute speech also called on allies to “build up the courage” to secure shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, arguing that the US doesn’t “need it”.
