A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and a former Chairman of Oluyole Local Government Area of Oyo State, Alhaji Kehinde Olatunji Olaosebikan, has reaffirmed his commitment to mobilising voters enmass for a resounding victory for President Tinubu’s reelection in 2027.

He made this known while declaring his aspiration to seek the APC for Oluyole Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.

Olaosebikan made the declaration at the weekly meeting of the APC in Oluyole Local Government Area on Monday.

The former Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to late Governor Lam Adesina, who donated a new Secretariat to the APC in the local government, assured the party members who turned out in their large numbers that he is mobilising support across party lines for the re-election of President Tinubu in the January 2027 presidential election.

He said Nigeria will vote President Tinubu because of several reforms he has put in place through the Renewed Hope Agenda.

While soliciting support for his ambition to represent the party in the coming election for the Oluyole Federal Constituency, Olaosebikan said many people in the local government have assured him that if he gets the ticket for the House of Representatives, they will vote for APC in all the coming elections.

He said: “Members of other political parties in Oluyole Local Government are already assuring me that if the APC gives me the ticket, they will mobilise their members not only for my election, but for all the APC candidates in the next year’s elections.”

Speaking on the donation of the new Secretariat to the APC in Oluyole Local Government Area, Olaosebikan said that he considered it necessary for the party as a progressive one to have a better and more spacious place for its activities.

The new Secretariat, according to him, would have offices for the party chairman, secretary, state party executive from the local government, and spaces for all other officers.

“With the spacious place now, our youths and our women can have a convenient place for their meetings,” he said.

On his programmes for the people, Olaosebikan said if elected, he will ensure good development for the Constituency.

He also promised to facilitate education support, employment, and skills acquisition programmes for the youths as well as employment opportunities.

He said he would assist indigent students to further their education and provide necessary support for the women.

The declaration, which attracted a large number of party faithful, was presided over by the APC chairman in the local government, Prince Dotun Oladipupo.

All notable party leaders in the Federal Constituency, including Hon. A. Adeyemo, Alhaji Razak Akilapa, Hon. Muideen Abiodun, Hon. Ibrahim Olaifa, Hon. Moruf Lamolo, Hon. Tunde Elegbede, Ambassador Waheed Olawale Adewale, Hon. Kamorudeen Adeoye, and Hon. A. Alamu.

Olaosebikan has been consistent in his support for the President, promising to triple his votes in 2027 in the Federal Constituency.
