Three teams have secured their places in the FA Cup semi-finals after Saturday’s quarter-final clashes, with Manchester City, Chelsea and Southampton progressing to the next stage.
Manchester City delivered a dominant performance in the day’s opening fixture, thrashing Liverpool 4-0. Erling Haaland was the standout performer, netting a hat-trick to seal an emphatic victory.
Chelsea followed with an equally ruthless display at Stamford Bridge, dismantling Port Vale 7-0 to comfortably book their semi-final spot.
Meanwhile, Arsenal suffered another setback, crashing out of a second competition in three weeks after a 2-1 defeat to Southampton.
The final quarter-final fixture is scheduled for Sunday, when West Ham United face Leeds United for the last remaining place in the semi-finals.
