FG will continue to recognise sacrifice of armed forces – Shettima

Vice-President Kashim Shettima, on Saturday in Maiduguri, assured that President Bola Tinubu’s administration would continue to recognise the sacrifices of the Nigerian Armed Forces.
Shettima said this while condoling with the Nigerian Army and Borno government over the attack that claimed the life of Brig. -Gen. Oseni Braimah and other officers.
The vice-president also assured the military of sustained operational support and welfare.
“These men wore the uniform for all of us. They stood to protect our communities, our families, and the future of our children.
“Their courage reminds us that peace and security often come at a very heavy cost,” Shettima said. (NAN)
