Footballer Christian Pulisic’s ex-girlfriend backtracks after cheating accusation

Former Chelsea star, Christian Pulisic’s ex-girlfriend, Alexa Melton, has publicly retracted earlier accusations that the footballer used a dating app before their relationship ended.
Melton, who confirmed her relationship with the AC Milan star in 2024, initially suggested he had been unfaithful and even hinted at releasing screenshots of an alleged dating profile. However, she has now reversed her stance. “I’ve made some comments on a private matter and it’s been taken out of context,” she wrote on Instagram.

She added: “I received false info. He is not a cheater. Any narrative beyond that is not mine. Out of respect for Christian’s and my privacy, I will not speak further regarding this matter.”
Her clarification comes just days after she responded to a fan online, implying she could expose his alleged activity on a dating platform, and claiming it happened “before it even ended.”

The sudden change suggests new information may have come to light, with Melton now defending Pulisic against the earlier claims.
The 27-year-old footballer has recently been the subject of increased attention around his personal life, including speculation linking him to actress Sydney Sweeney, which he has denied. It remains unclear whether Christian Pulisic has moved on following the breakup.
