Iran US Israel War Live Updates: Trump says US can leave Iran in two to three weeks as strikes continue

Iran US Israel War Live Updates: Trump says US may end direct involvement in war with Iran within two to three weeks, vows to finish the job and says withdrawal is not tied to any deal with Tehran.
Trump told reporters at the Oval Office that the conflict could wind down soon, stressing that Washington’s withdrawal would not depend on a diplomatic agreement with Tehran.
“All I have to do is leave Iran, and we’ll be doing that very soon, and they’ll become tumbling down. We’re finishing the job, and I think within maybe two weeks, maybe a couple of days longer, to do the job,” he said, per news agency AFP. “They don’t have to make a deal with me… Whether we have a deal or not, it’s irrelevant,” he added.
Meanwhile, Joint US-Israeli strikes targeted pharmaceutical companies and steel plants in Isfahan and Farokhshahr, as per Al Jazeera.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told Al Jazeera in an interview that he has little confidence in talks with Washington, saying that while messages had been exchanged, no negotiations were under way.
At the same time, US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth warned that the coming days could be decisive.
