Makinde, Turaki join Atiku, Obi, Mark, others in meeting + Video

The Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, and a former factional National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Taminu Turaki, on Wednesday joined former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and former Governor Peter Obi of Anambra State and others at a meeting held in the home of a former President of the Senate, Dr. David Mark, in Abuja.
The meeting, which was in progress as at press time, came after a protest in Abuja by the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
The de-recognised leadership of the ADC, had staged a protest to the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The meeting at Mark’s residence, shortly after the protest, also had in attendance the Leader of the Kwankwashiya Movement, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso; a former Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi; a former Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal; and a former Governor of Niger State, Dr. Babangida Aliyu.
Also at the meeting were a former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami; a former Minister of Information, Jerry Gana; and a former National Secretary of the PDP, Taofeek Arapaja.
