The statement reads :” Dear sons and daughters of the great Ijaw nation,
“I write today with pride, urgency, and a deep sense of responsibility to our heritage, our land, and our future.
“The Niger Delta has long been the lifeblood of Nigeria’s economy. Beneath our soil and across our rivers lies the oil wealth that sustains the nation. Yet for too long, our environment has suffered, our communities have been neglected, and our people have not always received the recognition they deserve.
“Today, history has placed before us a noble responsibility. The patriotic efforts of Chief Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, through Tantita Security Services, in the surveillance and protection of Nigeria’s pipelines, have brought renewed hope to the Niger Delta and increased oil production for the benefit of the nation. This is not merely a contract; it is a mission to defend our resources, secure our environment, create jobs for our youth, and restore peace in our creeks.
“I therefore call on every Ijaw son and daughter youths, elders, women, leaders, professionals, and stakeholders both at home and in the diaspora to stand firmly behind this vision.
“Let us support this effort with unity, vigilance, and patriotism. This is a time to rise above division and show that the Ijaw people are capable custodians of the resources in our land. By supporting Tantita Security Services, we are not only protecting pipelines; we are protecting livelihoods, promoting national economic growth, and proving the strength, discipline, and leadership of our people.
“Let no enemy of progress divide us. Let no act of sabotage destroy what is meant to uplift our region. Let every creek, community, and kingdom speak with one voice in support of peace, security, and development.
“The success of this mission is the success of the Niger Delta. The progress of Tantita is the pride of the Ijaw nation. The protection of our pipelines is the protection of Nigeria’s future.May we stand together in loyalty, courage, and unity.”
