According to TVC, the protest followed allegations that military authorities arrested three youths from the community as part of investigations into the killings that occurred last Sunday.
Residents said the demonstration was organised by women who demanded the immediate release of the detained youths.

The situation escalated as angry youths and women reportedly locked the entrance of the church where the mass burial ceremony was scheduled to take place.
Witnesses said the protesters insisted that the burial would not proceed until the arrested youths were released or their status clarified.
The incident created tension in the community as mourners gathered for the burial of those killed in the attack.
Naija News reports that the protest comes days after unknown gunmen, widely suspected to be bandits or ethnic militia, attacked the Angwan Rukuba area and killed several residents.

Following the attack, security agencies increased their presence in the area.
Troops of the Nigerian Army were deployed to reinforce security operations across affected communities.
Security sources said soldiers arrested a suspect on Monday during a patrol operation.
The troops also reportedly recovered an AK-47 rifle from the suspect during the operation.
