Police arrest 28-year-old man for m8rder of his three siblings in Ondo

“The Ondo State Police Command regrets to inform the general public of a tragic and gruesome incident that occurred on 7th April, 2026 in Okitipupa, Ondo State,” the statement read.

“One Mr. Agbeye of New Site, Doctors Road, Okitipupa, reported at the police station that his son, Femi Agbeye, aged 28 years, allegedly attacked his three siblings with a machete in his absence, resulting in their untimely d3aths.

“The deceased have been identified as Bose Agbeye (20), Dupe Agbeye (7), and Blessing Agbeye (5), all of the same family.

“Upon receipt of the report, operatives of the Command swiftly mobilized to the scene, where the victims were found lifeless. 

“Their remains were evacuated and deposited at the State Specialist Hospital Morgue, Okitipupa, for preservation and autopsy.

“In a prompt and coordinated operation, the suspect was apprehended on the same day and will be charged to court upon conclusion of investigations.

“The Commissioner of Police, Ondo State Command, strongly condemns this heinous act and assures the public that justice will be pursued diligently.

“He also urges residents to remain calm and cooperate with law enforcement agencies by providing any useful information that may aid ongoing investigations.

“The Command reiterates its commitment to the protection of lives and property and warns against all forms of violence within the society.”
