Priest calls out Catholics who are people pleasers as he shares experience with MC at a wedding

A Catholic Priest has called out Catholics who are people pleasers.

The Priest took to X to share his experience at a wedding with the Mastor of Ceremonies. 

Rev. Fr. Evarisrus Bassey wrote: “Many years ago, at a wedding reception, I was asked to pray and I began with ‘In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit…’ It was the MC who said afterwards that ‘Father did not even consider the non-Catholics that are here; he began with In the name of the Father…’ And guess what! The MC was a Catholic. It was one of those things that made me stop going for wedding receptions. When I do my own thing in church, I don finish be dat.
