Matches like PSG vs Bayern Munich (2026) and Borussia Dortmund vs Legia Warsaw (2016) are perfect examples of how unpredictable and explosive the competition can be.

However, the tie that has produced the most goals is the one between Borussia Dortmund vs Legia Warsaw. The winner was Borussia Dortmund, who defeated Legia Warszawa 8–4. Legia took the lead in Dortmund in the 10th minute thanks to a goal by Aleksandar Prijović, but Shinji Kagawa’s rapid double altered the tide of the match.
