Sen. Oyewumi: Imole Council Commits To Mandate, Osun Development

Director-General, Imole Campaign Council, Senator Oyewumi Kamorudeen Olalere, yesterday said, the formal inauguration of the Imole Campaign Council 2026, TICC, by His Excellency, Senator Ademola Adeleke, marks a pivotal moment in the political history of Osun State.

Senator Oyewumi made this known in a press statement issued and made available to newsmen in Osogbo the Osun State capital.

According to him, “As I step into the role of Director-General, I do so with a profound sense of responsibility and an unshakable conviction. This council is not merely a political necessity; it is the strategic engine designed to protect and project a mandate that has already proven its worth to the people.

“My confidence in our success is rooted in the caliber of this council—a sophisticated assembly of seasoned veterans and accomplished professionals, led by the distinguished Prof. Wale Oladipo as Chairman, and supported by a formidable executive team including Barrister Kolapo Alimi ,Deputy Director-General, Barrister Pelumi Olajengbesi ,Spokesperson, Hon. Prince Bola Ajao ,Secretary, and David Adeleke ,Davido, in charge of Youth Mobilization.

“Our mission is defined by a commitment to operational excellence and strategic discipline. As the central coordinating body and think tank, the TICC is entrusted with the critical responsibility of planning and evaluating all campaign programmes to ensure a unified front across every federal constituency, ward, and polling unit. 

“We are guided by the Governor’s reloaded Five-Point Agenda, which encapsulates our vision and direction: integrated youth, women, and workers’ welfare and empowerment; infrastructure consolidation for citizens’ social and economic wellbeing; agro-industrial expansion for human development and collective prosperity; affordable and qualitative health and education access; and an improved, secure business environment for sustainable job creation.
