Senate condoles with Nigerian Army on brigadier-general’s death

The Senate Committee on Army has condoled with the Nigerian Army over the death of Brigadier-General Oseni Braimah and other soldiers killed in the fight against insurgency.
In a press statement on Saturday, the committee’s chairman, Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’adua, APC, Katsina Central, acknowledged the bravery and dedication of Nigerian troops and assured them of the Legislative arm’s continued support and funding to boost the Army’s capacity.
He urged the military to remain resolute and courageous, saying the nation values their efforts in combating terrorism and securing the country.
The committee also condoled with the families of the fallen soldiers, saying, “The Nation respects and appreciates your service.”
