Teen boy stabs teacher to d£ath in front of horrified classmates after violent behaviour warnings

A teacher was allegedly stabbed to dath by a teenage student who is said to have held a grudge against her. Olesya Baguta, 55, was ambushed and attacked as she arrived for work on Monday morning, April 6, at School No. 5 in Dobryanka, Russia. Her alleged teenage killer, named as Matvey, 17, was lying in wait at the school gates before launching his vicious onslaught, according to reports.
The Russian language and literature teacher was popular with students and was voted Teacher of the Year in 2018. Frantic efforts were made to save Baguta, who was also vice-principal at the school, with an air ambulance transporting her to hospital. She did in hospital from her knife wounds.
Perm governor Dmitry Makhonin said: Unfortunately, despite all the doctors efforts, it was not possible to save her. The teen attacker was arrested and remains in police custody. He was already on a police register, and had been held back a year at school for behavioural issues. Matvey had made violent threats in the past, but sources say that these warnings were not taken seriously.
