Actor and politician, Kenneth Okonkwo, has blasted men from the South East joining the City Boy Movement, a support group for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu.

In a fresh interview, Okonkwo described such Igbo men as ‘’political scavengers who are out to feed off the crumbs falling from President Tinubu’s table.”

He said they do not in anyway represent the independent spirit Igbos are known for.

‘’They are scavenging from the rotten crumbs that fall from Tinubu’s table. Can’t you see how Igbos reject those saying they are ‘City Boys?’. You know why? It is an insult to Ndigbo? Do you why we wear our Isiagu? We wear our Isiagu because we go to hunt our food in dignity like the lions and we eat fresh meat. We don’t scavenge like vultures. They are political scavengers that are feeding from the rotten crumbs that fall from Tinubu’s table. They are political children drinking from the feeding bottle of Tinubu.
